SANSEPOLCRO is the most populous center of the tuscan Valtiberina. The town territory has an extension of 91.48 kmqs and is located near the south-oriental border of Tuscany, among the left shore of Tevere river and the "Alpe della Luna" on the appenninic watershed.
Famous artists and characters, like Piero della Francesca and Luca Pacioli were born here.
Due to its position, close to the tuscan confinements with Umbria, Marche and Romagna, Sansepolcro is a natural crossroad that allows to easily reach many tourist destinations in Umbria, Tuscany and more, for instance Arezzo (less than 40Km far), Perugia (about 70Km far), Assisi (about 80 Km far), Urbino (about 70Km far) and the coast of Romagna (about 100 Km far).

ANGHIARI is a splendid medieval suburb that dominates the green high valley of Tevere. Inviolable bastion, thanks to the powerful thirteenth-century boundaries, it had a great importance in the Middle Ages for its strategic position.

MONTERCHI is a small town of 1.831 inhabitants in the outskirtses of Arezzo. At Monterchi the "Madonna del Parto", one of the most important paintings of Piero della Francesca, is preserved.

The Sanctuary of "LA VERNA" is a destination of religious pilgrimage, since St.Francis in 1214 built there some cells where in 1139 he received the stimmates.
The hermitage, which is risen 1130 above sea level, is reachable hiking through the forest in the protected area of the National Park.
